TransGo introduces 62TE high pressure kit for vans

TransGo recently released a high pressure tuneless reprogramming kit for 62TE transmissions, model years 2007 and on. The company says it is specifically suited for work and passenger vans like the Ram ProMaster.

According to the company, a recalibrated pressure curve in this kit delivers increased clutch and TCC holding capacity with short, clean shifts at all throttle openings. A 26% overall increase in line pressure takes this unit from 60-135 PSI to 75-169 PSI, the company shared.

According to TransGo, the kit includes:

  • Drop-in hardened steel PR valve and calibration spring
  • Drop-in torque converter limit valve system
  • Billet 2-4 accumulator, (2) springs and (3) sealing rings
  • (5) High temperature accumulator seals and expanders (for aluminum accumulator pistons only)
  • Drill jig, drill bit and precision orificed cup plug
  • Wider, heavy duty snap ring for 2-4 piston
  • Non-shrinking low/reverse piston housing gasket
  • Self-expanding Tuff underdrive seal and expander wire
