TransGo highlights its new tuneless high-pressure performance valve body reprogramming kit for the Chrysler 68RFE automatic transmission. It is designed for Ram trucks with this transmission, model years 2019 and on. The company highlights the fact that users do not have to remove the transmission to use the kit.
According to TransGo, using the kit can stop repeat underdrive clutch failure after tuning, reduce OD clutch failure with added power, and add 36% more line pressure at all throttle openings without the need of computer software, among other benefits.
The kit includes:
- Five dual-sealing billet accumulator pistons with recalibrated springs;
- Torque converter limit system;
- Heavy duty accumulator plate;
- Triple-disc converter calibration valve;
- Heavy duty underdrive snap ring; and
- Laminated triple separator plate with gaskets.
