It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of longtime automatic transmission industry veteran Al La Rocca. He started his long career back in 1958 at Allomatic Industry as a plant manager, moving from there to Windsor Products in New Jersey as a production manager. Al continued his career at AJAC Transmission Parts in Elmont, NY, where he ran the plant before ultimately joining Precision International, where he worked in customer service for more than 20 years before retiring in 2005.
Al was known for his industry knowledge along with his ability to work closely with customers and co-workers alike. Al was 90 years old and was survived by his wife Louise of over 60 years, two sons and six grandchildren.
