Shop Boss adds Venmo, PayPal options

Shop Boss has added fully integrated PayPal and Venmo payment capabilities to its shop management software. The new feature of Boss Pay, Shop Boss’ all-in-one payments platform, is exclusively for text-to-pay customers, the company said.

Among the benefits noted by the company are automatic mobile login within the PayPal or Venmo app, and PayPal’s AI fraud detection that provides an extra layer of security against fraudulent transactions.

“PayPal and Venmo are two of the most trusted and familiar brands in the payments industry, and we are proud to be the first shop management software to offer this unified checkout experience,” said Cavan Robinson, SMS general manager for Vehlo, parent company of Shop Boss. “With this new offering we can meet the needs of our shops’ newest generation of customers and offer an elevated experience for all.”
