Raybestos Powertrain announced a new complete unit GPZ friction clutch pack module and a new steel clutch pack module for the Hyundai / Kia A8LR1 transmission.

The RGPZ-287 A8LR1 GPZ Friction Clutch Pack Module (pictured above) contains all single-sided and double-sided friction clutch plates needed to rebuild a Hyundai / Kia A8LR1 transmission, the company says.

The RGPZ-287 friction clutch pack is designed to be used with the STMHYUND10 steel clutch module (pictured below), which contains the sixth clutch steel plate that goes with the GPZ796 double sided friction clutch plate. According to Raybestos, GPZ technology improves transmission durability with performance that improves while power increases.
