RatioTek introduces new tuner kits for GM, Ford 10-speed transmissions

RatioTek has introduced new transmission tuner kits for GM and Ford 10-speed transmissions.

According to the company, these kits install from the bottom without the need to remove the transmission.

Benefits of both kits include, according to RatioTek: increased torque capacity, and lube flow; fixed common complaints of neutraling out and bang downshifts; and quicker shifts.

Kit for Ford 10R60/80/90

The kits for Ford models cover the 10R60, 10R80 and 10R90 10-speed transmissions, both gas and diesel. Part numbers are #RT-10R80-PR and #RT-10R80-PRX.

The kit (above) fits Ford 10R60, 10R80 and 10R90 10-speed 2017 and later. Vehicles covered include the Ford F-150, Mustang, Expedition, Ranger and Everest, and the Lincoln Navigator. The kit covers all relevant models of engines, with and without the auto start/stop feature, the company notes.

Kit for GM 10L80/90

The kits for GM models cover the 10L80 and 10L90 10-speed transmissions. Part numbers are #RT-10L80-PR and #RT-10L80-PRX.

The kit (above) fits GM 10L80 and 10L90 10-speed transmissions from 2017 to 2019. Vehicles covered include the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Camaro, Chevy K2500, Chevy Suburban, Chevy Tahoe and GMC Suburban. The kit covers all models of gas engines, with and without the auto start/stop feature, the company notes.
