Billet Bolt-Together Converters

SunCoast now offers 10-speed bolt-together converters manufactured from a solid piece of 7075 T6 billet aluminum plate (superior heat-treating characteristics) versus round bar.

This manufacturing method is necessary considering the high inertia and effects on ballooning the converter. The Pro-Loc converters (1080R-XPL-240mm/GM10L90-260mm) include: patent-pending zero drag lock-up technology; constant oil flow across the clutch surfaces; less parasitic loss; quicker throttle response and faster spooling of larger aftermarket turbos.

ZF Aftermarket reports that it released more than 770 new parts over the course of 2023. According to ZF, those parts include 115 part numbers for ZF transmission products, including nearly 70 SACHS torque converters, and four different formulations of ZF Lifeguard e-Fluid for hybrid engines. A wide variety of other car and truck parts including brake pads, shock absorbers, and more, were also among that 770.
